OK for those of you that don’t know what Touhou is here is a brief and amusing video explanation:
OK so what exactly is a secondary? I hear you ask. A secondary is someone who enjoys the fanon (fan work) and either isn’t aware of or doesn’t like the canon (original work). Now there’s nothing wrong with only liking the fanon, especially with something like Touhou that has such a large spectrum of fan made works. Now what I don’t like is the people that are secondaries. From what I can gather off of various websites from the internet these people are arrogant retards. These are the people who comment “xDXDXDxdXD” with no sense of irony.
Most secondaries will proudly declare their love for Touhou to the world despite not knowing anything about it. I once had a guy approach me in a con when I was looking at Touhou figures at a con and tell me “Oh! Is that Touhou? I love Touhou! Especially Flandre Scarlet. I still need to watch it though.” OK how can you love something if you don’t even know what it is? I can understand if you’re trying to be friendly and act like you have a shared interest with a person but all you are basically doing is lying to me.
Allot of secondaries also seem to have very limited knowledge of the actual fanon itself. They only seem to be aware of the internet memes that go around and instantly assume that it is from an anime. I guess it’s the same annoyance as what vocaloid fans have with people in there fan base. These people wallow in there own ignorance and spread their lies to other people.
So in summary I don’t like secondaries because:
- They’re ignorant
- They’re arrogant
- They’re lyers
- They’re stupid
And that my friends is why I don’t like secondaries.
Anime Tech and Touhou 
Lol, every touhou video has at least 10 or more comments asking if it’s an anime. It also doesn’t help the situation when they’ve seen the fanmade animations and they wonder where the “other episodes” are. I got into touhou back in 2007 and I’ve loved it ever since.
